Please note:

“Last academic year we consulted on changes to the school’s admissions policy. The Diocese had asked us to change our policy with regard to siblings so that Catholic children would have priority over non-Catholic siblings.  This is in line with other Catholic schools in the Diocese.   Our previous admissions policy gave priority to all siblings, regardless of faith.

We listened to your views in the consultation and decided to adopt transitional arrangements to move towards the Diocese’s requirements over the next six years. This means that any child at the school this academic year, who is still in the school when their sibling joins the school, is deemed a “pre-existing sibling”.  Their brothers and sisters will have the old sibling priority.   Families new to the school from September 2018 will be subject to the new sibling priorities, as set out in the admissions policy.”                                                     Tina Backhouse, Chair of Governors
