Improvements around the school

Over the summer holidays there have been a number of refurbishments -thankfully no major construction! Several of our Key Stage 2 classrooms have benefitted from new carpets.

Outside, we completed the construction of our gravel path that leads from the Romsey Road entrance to the playground. This means the path will be usable now that the Autumn and Winter months will soon be approaching.

We have also marked the playground and surrounding hard standing with an assortment of dots and lines. This will help organise games during PE lessons and also encourage children to create their own games during playtime. Thank you and the PTA for raising the money to fund this project; I have already witnessed the children attempting the long jump!

The adventure playground has also benefitted from resurfacing of wood chips
