Welcome to the homepage of the St. Peter’s Primary School Parent Teachers Association (PTA). As a parent you are automatically a member and all parents, guardians and staff are most welcome to all PTA meetings.

The PTA is a group of enthusiastic parents and teachers committed to raising funds for the school and your children.

The role of the PTA is to advance the education of the pupils in the school by being involved in decision making on school matters, providing facilities or items to enhance the curriculum, to support clubs and activities and to encourage co-operation between staff and parents.

What does the PTA do?

We raise funds by organising a variety of events throughout the year, the majority of which are for the children to enjoy, such as our incredible Bonfire Night, the Summer Fete and Camping Night. Other events are focused on fun for parents, like our Quiz Night, Hog Roast and Ball.

What has the PTA achieved for the school?

Over the last few years we have provided some excellent facilities for the school, including the outdoor classroom, the slide, the adventure playground, maths equipment, digital cameras for all classrooms, new reading books, key stage one playground, sports kit, gardening club support and the list goes on…
